If people aren't aware of the term, stutter stepping is moving directly after your attack animation such that you only move while you are in between swing/shot cooldowns and then attacking again. Same DPS but you have a small amount of movement.

Too used to stutter stepping marines in Starcraft 2. Always gotta stutter step.

Depends on how fast my AS is and whether or not I might get a nasty poke from the jungle. Sometimes I do stutter step just out of habit, with turrets AND minions.

1. Its called Orb walking
2. Its not for movement in between shots
3. It does increase dps

Orb walking, or stutter stepping as you call it, Is done by canceling the second half of the auto attack frames. Think of your attacks as a semi circle. After you shoot, you have wasted frames on the way down from the "peak" in which the damage is done. By cutting this out, you increase the speed at which you attack by a miniscule rate.

Please dont inform the people that dont know, with bad information...

Game has no orb walking, and I would've referred to it as orb walking but DotA pros would've yelled at me.

We still call it creep score even if they are minions. Orb Walking sounds cool at the very least. Stutter Stepping sounds like what the new fad of the Harem Step should be called.

Confirmed troll

If you say so. The game doesn't have the second half of animations like DotA does. And Orb walking was mainly referred to as manually activating on-hit skills such that it doesn't aggro creeps. People who referred to just auto-movement were chastised for calling it Orb walking last time I played.

And I'm a lurker? REALLY. Wow
