It's either because she takes more effort than a lot of mids, or because pros don't play her much. Probably a combination of both.

I think her decline has a lot to do with the decline in a lot of pure AP mids. That and the fact that everyone is so tanky nowadays. Ahri just can't put out a lot of sustained damage late game. Her Q does like 5-10% of a late game opponents health, and her ult barely tickles.

She is a win by 20 or lose by 25 champ. Anything after mid game and she becomes useless outside of Charm. That being said her early-mid game capabilities are great as she can roam and gank just as well as the likes of Eve and Akali.

I completely disagree. The true damage on her Q makes her amazing. Plus one GOOD charm can be fight changing, and with a team behind you can make for amazing turret dives.

You have to be competent to make her work, but shes fairly easy to pick up. Shes my go to carry when I have to actually play seriously
