Why does Varus miss all of his ults?

Why??? Whyyyyy. Just played a game. Jungler Eve. Ganks bot 4 times, Varus flashes/dives/dies 4 times, misses his ult 3 times.

Bronze III promotional matchese to Bronze II right now.

Elo hell ftw.

Cause I admit it, I do suck. Hence the reason I'm bronze. But matchmaking have been matching me with these Varuses man.

Varus' ult has one of the weirdest hitboxes for a skillshot.

Technically 990 Elo now :)

It's gone up in the past 3 days from constant winning.

Couldn't agree with this more. His ult seems so out of place in his kit it feels awkward to use it and on top of that the hitbox is weird.

There's nothing wrong with Varus' ultimate.

While I don't main Varus, I play him enough. I'd say I'm pretty accurate with his ult and can land it most (75 - 80%) of the time

I've tried him out a while back, but the thing is the projectile speed on his ult is kinda slow and at further distances you have to lead you're opponents/predict where they are going to land it. (similar to Amumu's Bandage toss)
That being said, it shouldn't be hard for someone who actually manages to land his Q at further ranges, which is something competent Varus users should already be able to do.
Common sense seems to be more uncommon.
