She isn't Taric tier, but she is by no means awful.

I wouldn't say it's too much of a stretch to delcare her the worst of the more standard supports

lol I'll just say it,

She is a GOOD support, just not a great support. Her CDs are too long and both her passive and E are really weak.

She not bad...but other supports are better.

She is great with a Cho. If either of them Land their pop-up they can chain them into each other, way too easily, for a very long CC that the enemy can't escape from or reduce.

If you get used to her, she's great. Not an easy pick up and play champ though.

Can make amazing plays.

She is defiantly underrated, but probably not capable of anything too spectacular. I find her pretty fun but you need to get the hang of her, like anyone else.

She's not so good at laning due to the predictable and avoidable nature of her Q, but her team fight potential is very high.

Though I actually find you can usually hit her Q more reliably if you lead with either the tidal wave or an E-augmented autoattack, as both of them slow the target down fairly well.

So yes, she's good, she's just somewhat outclassed as far as supports go, and she takes getting used to. Naturally though, she works best with allies that have a CC of their own. Which, to be honest, leads me to wonder if a Nami could fulfill the role of ADC with a kill-team support laner like Leona or Taric. She has two hard CCs and a sort of attack steroid, which when combined with a Taric or Leona initation would pretty much lock down whatever poor soul is hit in bot lane till death.

Saw adc nami once, it worked better than I thought but she still went like 1/6/5 or something

Nami is actually really, really good if you learn how to hit her Q. It's about predicting where the enemy is going to be, not aiming it at where they are, much like firing a gun at a moving target. It hits hard and can set up some amazing plays with the ADC. Her W is great for poking too.

Yeah it's pretty much like this.

I've been playing a fair bit of Nami on Dom lately, and I get a fair few comments along the lines of "omg dont pick nami" and "troll nami" and such, but most of the time at least one person in the game will comment on how I'm doing good. Of course, being Dom and all, I still get some of those teams that are just absolutely hopeless, but I usually do well as her.

The thing is, she has two AoE hard CCs that also deals decent damage, one of which is followed up by a slow, a heal/poke, and a damage steroid with attached slow that can be cast on anyone. She has all the tools she needs to be a boss at team fights, she just doesn't have much laning presence against people that have half a brain.

Just have to rush that 40% CDR, really.
