Why do top laners get the most viewers?

#1KingEtemonPosted 2/26/2013 11:20:36 PM
Wings, Dyrus and Voyboy always have 30k viewers when they're streaming, whereas everyone else ranges between 5k and 15k. Why is that? :u

Partly because Wings, Dyrus, and Voyboy are simply excellent streamers regardless of what they play. Partly because top is one of the most versatile and interesting lanes to watch.

No idea, I watch jungle and mid in that order. Apparently I'm not representative of the majority of stream viewers.

I dont think it's because they're top laners. It just so happens that the top laners are the most talkative, and that there are more dedicated toplane streamers that aren't on teams.

Wingsofdeath and Voyboy are talking throughout their whole stream. QualityPlayer (best ap tryndamere) is hilarious. Rainman is talkative. Dyrus is kinda quiet, but he's very well known and part of TSM so he gets a pass.

OddOne beats out Dyrus pretty often and he's the funniest out of everyone in TSM.

I'd watch mid player streams if Scarra streamed more (his videos on YouTube are always informative) but I can't think of anyone else I really want to watch at mid (not too familiar with EU mids). Jungle I like watching Stvicious and TheOddOne. I think I just have a huge boycrush on Voyboy right now though. He's respectful but also knows how to enjoy himself on stream, he's informative, he plays a lot of different champs and he streams like crazy.

I don't know how anyone could call dyrus an excellent streamer. Especially compared to others, even on his own team.

Dyrus is a terrible streamer.

My stream preference:

Reep > OddOne > Voyboy > Nyjacky > Random Hot Girl in silver league

recently this gay black dude has been streaming and he's pretty funny. (sky_mp3)

Dyrus is pretty cool when he actually talks. I don't know what happened to him, he used to be really talkative at one point.

Oddone is easily my favorite streamer, though. Absolutely golden.

I have no idea why Dyrus gets any views at all. Boring, silent, even when he says something it's usually irrelevant.
