League of Legends

How are these mid champs? I've never played any but I want all of them

Cassiopeia
Orianna
Malzahar
Swain

I've fought against all of them at some point and they all seem interesting to me, but what are your opinions on these champs?

from what I've gathered, Cass is a great team-fighter, Malz is a very good duelist, and Swain is just great all around

not too sure about Orianna

Cass has some of the highest DPS of any AP carry and high kiting potential. Works really nice with Jarvan and highly offensive team comps. Vulnerable to ganks.

Orianna's in a really good spot right now. Good laning, great teamfight potential.

Malzahar is okay. A lot better now that they changed how his ult works. Don't know much else about him though.

Swain's good. High damage, interesting kit and his W is one of the strongest AoE CC abilities.

I'm leaning towards getting Ori, but it seems like most people tell me to get Swain

People stan hard for Swain because he's fun and stylish and, of that list, one of the better mages.

Personally, I think that Ori has more potential because her kit is more versatile, and she works amazingly well with the hard engage junglers that are popular (Vi, Nocturne, and Hecarim to name a few).

She is kind of bursty, not as much as LB. She does have some decent sustained with QW.

But she is so fun because you control the lane. I've sunk so many games as Ori. Always fun.

Orianna's damage is alright. It's not the highest of AP mids, but she has a TON of range, especially if you have a strong diving champion like Vi or Hecarim or Malphite on your team.

Her shield is deceptively strong, because the added armor/MR from the ball helps the shield's strength.
