Why is Blitzcrank banned so often when you can dodge his grab?

It's just a pain to deal with.

One grab can just mess up a whole game.

If the Blitz is good, one grab is enough to break the game in his team's favor. You might dodge most of them during laning phase, but the initiation potential is too big.

Because a Blitz can miss all his grabs all game long, but all it takes is one lucky grab and its GG.
Actually, since Wedge Antilles > Carriers, and Carriers = Instant win, then it should be Wedge Antilles > Instant win. He's just that good XD -PsionicDude

Blitz on your team: Grabs Leona/Amumu/Alistar
Blitz on enemy team: Always grab ADC even if you sit on top of them as Hecarim.

It is a pain to deal with. Also, there are situations where it is NOT dodgeable, and those the ones that can truly decide a game.

When a 16 ping Blitz goes against a 180 ping character, his pulls will get me from a mile away
Evidence is absolute. Logic is flawed.

Because you can't trust your teamates to not get grabbed.

You'll notice that very few pro's play Blitz, because when teams have proper positioning a Blitz pull will often just be a free initiation.

blitzcrank is super easy to use and can change the game with 1 grab

you can dodge most of them, he only needs to land 1.
