I run it when I play Shen most of the time. People don't expect a huge burst from your passive when you rush haunting guise. Also DAT ULT.

He scales with both health and AP, but it's hard to go for items for both. Just focusing on AP on shen is dumb. He's not gonna blow someone up ever.

I always love hearing the expressions on people when AP Shen's shield goes up and takes up half his health bar.

Not sure about the CDR... Aren't most AP/CDR items giving mana/mana regen right now? But since AP Shen sometimes gets Rylais, Rylais+Lyandris+usual tank?

liandry's, sunfire and rylais can be your go-to damage items and the rest can be building tanky

They took out the mana regen on Nashor's a while ago so all it offers would benefit AP Shen. That and SV or Locket+Blue Elixer depending on the opposing team comp would max CDR.

I'm not trying to say this would be super OP or anything, just something fun to play around with. I never really play Shen so I'm not too great on how well his energy spending would work into it.

Shen runs out of energy too quickly to make good use of CDR.

CDR doesn't really matter on energy champs unless it's Lee Sin I feel since he can get back a lot of energy if he plays properly.

And Zed with Cleaver I suppose. But the others feel like they drain themselves too fast that CDR wouldn't mean much.

Unless you're talking about his ult only, in which case eh. Why not I suppose.
