What's the best way to solve his mana problems?

I've been building Manamune, but I'm not sure if that's optimal, or even viable, so I thought I would ask

Lol J4 doesn't have mana problems. If you're running out of mana, you're probably spamming W every exchange.

W? No, E, maybe, I use it early for that last hit if I need to, later to close with E Q, and I drop it for the AS buff when I'm getting free damage on the turret.

W I only use for a chase or an escape

Lol J4 has HUGE mana problems.... youre crazy if you think otherwise. Even into midgame he can run dry after one team fight.

Anyway if youre jungling take second blue unless you have an Anivia, Kass, Swain, or someone who really really need its.

If youre laning you have to not waste any moves, you cant spam. Dont even take W still level 4 or 5 to avoid wanting to use it.

So just be more wary of my mana usage, don't bother with any mana or MP5 items?

The worst I do is use Q to last hit multiple minions but that never sets me back on my mana. Don't use E to last hit. Q does more damage and costs less mana up until level 3 and you can set it up to last hit and poke the enemy. The only time you should use EQ is when you're going in for a harass (drop flag right on the enemy, pull right up to them and AA and walk away). You'll win the trade on most champs so don't extend the fight and let them attack you after the knockup. A lot of people stick around too long and use W in the process as a mental crutch thinking it's a big shield or something. It's not even needed if you walk away after a successful trade.

Otherwise, you should never be OOM or run into issues unless you constantly spam your skills trying to poke. Lol @ the guy who has problems. Manage your mana better instead of spamming skills.
