Why do people hate solo top tank Warwick?

-WW has one of the hardest ccs in the game wrapped up in a relatively short-CD gapcloser.
-He's nearly impossible to kill short of full focus when built properly.
-%HP damage works very well against the current HP stacking meta, especially if you build BORK on him.
-He can give his entire team a free 40% aspd buff (that's as much aspd as on a statikk shiv and 10 short of a PD). This means that his ADC now melts your team even faster.
-He is very difficult to run from, and his E makes bush-jukes impossible because he never loses sight of you once you're low.

Topwick is very underestimated. He's not the best top laner, but I don't think he deserves all the flak he gets.

My two cents; Warwick one of the three 100% single target damage/cc champions in the game. Singed has some of the highest consistent AOE damage in the game. Singed farms much faster and has a better place in most team compositions.
