do you normally stick to one or 2 champions?

I just started the game and I don't really know what I'm doing lol. I've been messing around with the free champions every week trying to find a "main", but given the amount of champions there are, something tells me I'm not supposed to do that.

Its best to play all champs a few times to understand them. The more you understand them, the better you can play AGAINST them.

Happyscrub's league of legends rank is higher than 95% gamefaqs posters. This is why gamefaqs jealous of him. That's why they troll him. So sad, So bad, so mad.

I stick to Riven, Nasus and Darius. Always.

I find it easier to alternate between very few as that helps you know how to play your lane with those better.

I'm fairly new too. It's very important to know what you're up against. It's one thing knowing what their moves do, but it's another to really know what they do, because you have played with them a couple times. I have a few characters that I consider "my characters", that I mostly play and "main", but I keep switching it up. I'm up to three "mains", working on a fourth, while still having a hand at all the free champs.

Agreed with above, if you play a champion enough times you will know their exact weaknesses and strengths and play better against them. (especially how strong they are at 1, 2, 4, 6, 10...)

Another thing, I've only been playing co-op vs. AI games. Should I continue doing that? Should I have just been PvPing this entire time?

Play pvp, always, bots teach you bad habits and when you go from bots to pvp it's just nasty.

My advice, and what i did when i first started ..... keep playing with free champs til u find one u like. purchase that champ and choose them whenever possible, still using free champs. After you find another one that fits ur playstyle, purchase, and you have 2. Keep doing this eventually you will barely play with free champs because you have so many.

Also, try to start pvp'ing ASAP. Bot games don't really make you better, as they are so easy and clueless
