No, people just realized just how much she sucks.
She relies on chaos to win.. If there's even a single champion with CC or knock-up who is aware of her existence, she will not dominate teamfights.
This only happens when people don't know how to Play Kat.
This is kind of why I liked old Kat better, because you had to KNOW when to use your W (Killer Instincts) and on which ability. and the main issue was knowing when was the right time to ult.
Now yes, her new W can help out if your ult gets disabled so you can try to flee, but still, with Kat, its all about watching the enemies with cc, and letting them blow them on you or your allies before using your ult.
I love dominating games against teams with a lot of cc. like a match with jarvan, mao, annie, taric, vayne.
its all about positioning and knowing who to go for or how to prevent getting your ult cancelled.
what makes Kat very fun is if you are good with her, and kick a teams ass with a TON of cc, all they do is complain in all chat "Kat op" "Kat broken" "lol l2p a good champ" "press r to win" "easymode champ noob" etc etc... yet its like "Why did you blow the cc before I ulted? Your fault you got owned"
