Thresh AD Offtank??

I'm currently experimenting on a Thresh AD Offtank build. I can pretty much do great against noobish to average players, but I'm not quite sure it can do well against good to veteran players. Well, the item build consists of:

Frozen Mallet
Warmogs
Wit's End
Maw of Malmortius
Phantom Dancer
Mercury Treads
With 21/9/0 Masteries and Runes built on AD.

What do you think guys?

I'd get a BT or a Cleaver somewhere in there. Probably remove Phantom Dancer.

I usually buy a sword of the divine in there for some burst in team fights.

Do I need more attack speed as an AD Offtank?

Probably not, but I think it depends on how you're playing him anyway.

Thresh's base on-hit damage is still pretty good if you're consistently grabbing souls, and you'll probably see a slight DPS increase.

However, his passive is obviously at its strongest when charged, so building AD will help more with his initial burst. I'm not an expert at AD Thresh or anything, but I'd probably focus more on the AD than AS. Try building a BoRK mid-game and see how that suits you.
