what do

I know I'm not the greatest player ever, and I don't believe in elo hell but between some unavoidable dc's, a starting match where I didn't know i was in ranked, and some dodges i didn't realize counted as a full loss, apparently, I ended up with... bronze four

That's right
bronze four

I'm scared guys
tell me it will be ok

my last placement had an adc twisted fate for gods-sake

HE DID OK
OK

placement matches are overrated if you plan on spending a decent amount of time playing ranked

Don't worry, if happyscrub can play 2000 games and get to Gold, so can you.
You like it or you don't, but i hate people saying it's 'an acquired taste." That's just a cop out. - bookwormbabe29 on beer.

eh that's not too bad, if you're better then bronze 4 level you'll shoot up REALLY fast

the problem is... you will get one of those matches, where like your whole team feeds and you have no idea what to do... that kind of game can happen once in awhile

That hurts. For curiosities sake, what division do you place yourself in, honestly?

Placement matches only determine how much of a grind you will have to do to get back to your peak placement. It gives a fair amount of grind as if your skill level high above where you were placed it takes about 10-15 games to division up. So let's say you are actually a Silver I player and got unlucky in placement matches and got placed in Bronze IV. It would take an estimated 40 games or so more to get to where you should have been placed.

If you plan to play a fair amount of ranked games I wouldn't worry about it. If you have limited time and are racing your friends I'd be a little saddened. Just keep grinding out the games and you will do great.

Good Luck^^

i don't have a good basis to judge that on, other than certainly not gold+

other than that all i can say is i saw gold and silver cards quite frequently in normals when i was actually playing champs i knew rather than ones i wanted to try
