A good way to learn how to counter a champion is play that champion yourself

Playing as that champion will give you understanding on what that champion can and can't do, along with how often they can do it. More people need to do this.

I don't think it is. I always hear many people complain about how op or broken some champions are, but if you ever used them yourself, you would find out that your opponent was just outplaying you or you played the match up completely wrong due to lack of knowledge.
