Bot champ recommendation?

#1rpgmasterXVPosted 3/25/2013 8:42:00 AM
I've been playing bot lately with the free champ rotations and prefer ranged over melee. Any recommendations which champ I should go for?

Bot is generally an ADC (all of the worthwhile ones are ranged) and a Support. Obviously the champs that fill these roles are drastically different.

You should already have Alistar (support) and Tristiana (adc) since they're free when you get their promo skins from youtube/facebook. Beyond those, there's a lot of options. Caitlyn is a very solid adc, on sale tomorrow if you buy stuff with RP, Ashe is a 450 IP adc.

My favorite supports are Lulu and Janna, Taric, Leona, and Sona are popular.

Of course Draven's sex appeal is unparalleled, but 6300 champs might not be the best place to start. Again, unless there's a sale and you're willing to spend RP on champs.

Ashe is easy to learn.

Miss Fortune is the easiest to CS and teamfight with.

Well TC never sad "this many IP" or "not using RP"

As far as ADC goes...Draven is usually at the top.

I'd prefer ADC, and RP or IP doesn't really matter for me.

You say that, but I'm assuming you haven't bought your level 20 runes yet (huge IP sink, can't use RP for them), so don't go overboard with IP champ purchases.

And personally I don't spend RP on champs unless they're on sale, but that's just me. I'd still recommend grabbing Cait when she goes on sale tomorrow if you're using RP.

I'd say MF right now. Teamfight armor shred with BC and her ult, build a blade of the ruined king near the end of your build to deal with the health meta, a lane bully who can do both magic and physical damage. I like her quite a bit and think she is a top tier ADC right now.

Draven is not an easy ADC to learn the basics with though. His axe catching mechanic takes time to get used to and TC sounds like he's brand new and needs to learn how to last hit and harras his opponents more then learn to catch axes.

Caitlin is prolly the best to start just because of the long range and strong auto attacks. along with traps and an escape(net) to help you learn when to move and when to back off.
