People who just played their first 10 games don't really deserve to be gold and definitely don't deserve to be higher. Sure you may be a great player, but odds are far more likely is you just got lucky more often than not. If you are an actual good player you will have no problem getting out. --- http://i.imgur.com/s8XOg.jpg http://www.last.fm/user/Grizzlybarry
Having a friend 50-100 ELO used to Garentee you would be the one doing bans. I suppose being ahead 50-100 LP would do that now. The downside ofcourse is your ranking will go up by a pittance but shoot down very quickly. --- Wicks so sweet its swicks
I never played ranked in season 2 and went 5/5 in placements which placed me in Bronze II. Guessing if I went 10/0 I'd of probably been placed in like Silver II or I. --- 2500K @4.5Ghz // GTX 680 SC SLI // 8GB RAM // Extreme3 Gen3 Mobo SteamID: SmurfyD
Huh, guess I got a bit too compassionate in that post lol.
What I was saying was: I just found out elo-hell is real, no matter how hard you carry games there are always some idiots who throw the game during the teamfight/late-game stage.
I would argue otherwise.
Silver I in placements, won 6/10. Gold III in 38 games.
There is no elo hell. You just need to carry harder and dominate your lane, and not just dominate. A streamer talked about it (I think LOD? not sure) It's easy to win your lane. It's harder to take advantage of that fact, and snowball everyone else to such a point that it's impossible to lose.
Just watch all the smurfers. They never experience elo hell. Even PhantomLord got to Plat in kr, in a week after reachijg 30 there. Because I honestly think there's a difference between thinking you carry hard enough, to actually carrying hard enough. --- "Speculation is not hard evidence; it is the refuge of those who cannot prove their point." ~ ArtosRC
