The kind that's backed up by math. Let's see some number's, gang. Any web pages with good descriptions of meta that are backed up by math? Could it be possible that the world of LoL is still missing such a vital service?


You can't answer every question with just math, because of skill shots and etc., but (I wish this went without saying) that doesn't undermine our capability to benefit from a little arithmetic. .

theres too many variables for math to work here.

I mean you can say that you want AV gold for top/mid/ADC to be around the same so they each effectively get a solo lane, but human error / zoning/ lane aggression/ ganks loses cs and therefore effective gold.

Meta is what works well, not necessarily the best (due to above constraints) but a team comp that works time and time again

ADC- scale with gold, squishy
support- dont need much gold to be useful
so adc+support lane together, usually bot for extra dragon control
mids- should scale well with xp and gold, they should be a solo lane for more xp and get the most money because of wraith camps, should be able to put pressure on top and bot lanes
top- anyone can top
jungle- idk take smite
