Every single Thresh Blitz combo I've seen has been win lane, lose game

Why do people keep doing it? Past early game, Thresh remembers that he's a support and can't kill anyone anymore

Is it like that AP Trynd thing a few weeks ago or so? Some pro did it and it worked, and now everyone thinks it's a good idea to do it too?

Thresh can't kill anyone? Really? So at 180 souls, that adds 180 points of magic damage to each attack.

Well, as an avid adc thresh player I don't know what they're doing wrong but I never lack damage. I go bt>botrk>statik shiv>warmog> game over.

Sure they get a kill here and there, but it's not carrying by any means
Not as useful in teamfights as typical ADC's, though the lantern is nice

Maybe they all just sucked, but every thresh/blitz bot combo I've played with or against has lost their game. It got to the point where I was never ever afraid of the enemy Thresh. There was never that moment where I felt it was urgent to take them out like I'd get when facing, say, Vayne or Draven

His crappy attack range gets him obliterated in teamfights, unless you're in bronze against bads of course.

Basically 475 range. It's kind of a problem late game, despite his impressive utility and potential for tankiness. I mean, Urgot is way better then Thresh at the whole "Tanky initiator ADC with sick poke" thing.

I remember once I played AD Thresh. The Bonus magic damage on hit maxes at 200% max AD, and the highest I got it to was 1k extra magic damage per hit if it charged up fully.

Thresh can get plenty scary lategame
