Not quite. Health pots are more like tangos than salves, and tangos don't go away if you take damage.

This would ruin all use of potions. To be sure you heal you would have to stand at your turret and zone yourself, losing exp, and gold.

Except Salves heal major chunks of HP per second. LoL HP pots would have to be re-tuned to match. 70g per pot, heals the same as 2 pots, heals in 5-7 seconds (3-4x the health per second as current hp pots).

The poster I responded to attempted to erroneously distill the difference of tangos and salves into the mechanic only, without considering the actual heal throughput.

I honestly DGAF whether the throughput was mentioned 10 posts prior in a separate context. Critical reading is not just for SATs. Try harder.
