you sure 1.5 AD is worthwhile over spellsword? It only takes 30 AP for spellsword to be better, which you pretty much have at level 1 with those runes+masteries

Also I'm curious about justification of maxing Q before W when W gets a bigger damage increase per level and is AoE

Um, actually the mastery thing is a mistake. I changed it in my mastery section but forgot to change it at the top, thanks.

I max Q first if I'm in a mostly 1v1 lane(if the jungler can't/isn't ganking a lot) for a long time. Sometimes lanes last 10 minutes, sometimes 20.

W will be doing only slightly more damage than Q at the low levels, but will still take much more mana, and it cannot be recharged. That being said, sometimes I like to finish an opponent off with Q for the mana, which is a lot easier with the extra damage.

Don't get me wrong though, in the skill order section I make a point that you CAN level W first if you want the extra damage and slightly less sustain, but it's really all preference. The point is that they both reach level 5 rather quickly.

Boots of mobility confuses me.

I'm going to get into this a lot more when I finish the item build section, but basically there's a big difference between an Annie that wins her lane a lot easier, and one that tries to win -all- of the lanes.

Sorc shoes are great and all, I will sometimes get them if my lane opponent is building magic resist, but I find the roaming potential of boots of mobility a lot more efficient.

Annie has no dashes, no movement speed buffs, nothing like that. For very quick and efficient ganking she pretty much needs boots of mobility.

Well think of it like this. Remember that garbage guide that Umashi wrote in the form of a story or w/e? I think it was for Sejuani, and look how that turned out. It was literally awful.

Maybe you're just writing the guide for fun, and that's great, but if you intend for people to actually get something out of the material, you should really make sure you have something useful to offer than no one else has done yet. I'm not going to name names, but I think a few people have essentially wasted their time writing guides when other guides already exist that do it better.

To be honest a good chunk of it is for fun, but also re-evaluating what you do to win is important. I never really sat down and wondered why it is I actually win with Annie until now, I just played and accepted it. But now more than anything I'm helping myself learn more about what I'm doing, and helping anyone who has asked me to write an Annie guide as well(not a large amount of people, only about 6-7).

So it's for fun, myself, and in the end, others.

Yes, but eventually I'll explain how to win lanes like Annie vs Orianna and how to shut down the Orianna hard. Especially if the Orianna in question is TTaiga.

You win that lane by getting your jungle vi to gank 3 times before 5 minutes, right? Tbh you're really full of yourself if you feel the need to make a guide for one of the easiest champs in the game. oh man, I'm sure people really need to know how to press R when stun is up and then Q-W, l0l.

I already fixed that. It was mentioned in an earlier post.
