Outside of the extra MS there's little benefit for Hec to go 21 in utility. More tenacity, slow reduction and tankyness are simply much better for him. --- Amid the turmoil and tumult of battle, there may be seeming disorder and yet no real disorder at all Sun Tzu

Lifesteal, spell vamp, passive health regen, CDR... these are all things Hec benefits from greatly in the utility tree. --- Kakugo Ha Yoi Ka... Isshun Sengeki! My Fists Bleed Death

The options are 0/9/21 or 0/21//9. You don't want to give up your buff duration. --- Posted from my Xbox360 with 360FAQS v1.1

What kind of scores are you getting with 21 points in ultility? More assists I assume? I take 9 in offense for armor pen on top of my armor pen runes and the kills come so easily.

Not really, LS and SVdont really do much for Hec (unless you're going for the Spirit build), HP regen is nice but he already gets that in the defense tree, CDR is irrelevant considering his core build gives him 40% CDR. --- Amid the turmoil and tumult of battle, there may be seeming disorder and yet no real disorder at all Sun Tzu

The only problem I have with Utility Hecarim is that as a largely physical damage-dealer (as opposed to, say, Skarner who is very hybridized), I really want to pick up Weapon Expertise on him. 21 Utility means I have to choose between Weapon Expertise and Summoner's Resolve. I don't have to make that choice with 9/21/0, not even for Flash CDR because Ghost is better on Hec. --- "Pokey and the man."
