"Pro" sona players to watch?

#1tuffguy34Posted 6/4/2013 6:21:37 PM
I've been maining Sona for awhile and feel like I've kind of hit a personal wall in terms of things that I know I need to work on. Are there any particularly good Sona players whose videos/streams I can watch for progress?

there isnt really much to learn about Sona. People like to joke how easy she is to play, but its the truth.

The only nuance to her is knowing when to use each power cord. Early game, Q power cord is pretty much all you should be using, when jungler ganks or when chasing use E, and in teamfights try to either use E or W on ppl diving.

there arent too many support streamers because most people dont like to watch support, so the they dont like to stream much. The most common support player is Krepo, but he doesnt play Sona. The next best option is Xpecial who plays Sona quite a bit but he usually doesnt stream much.

Sig won't change until my sister thinks re4 is a good game. number of people who support=9

watch xpecial and his game winning sona ults in the LCS matches

I've noticed that a lot of Sonas at lower elo blow their ult prematurely, but Xpecial waits for the perfect opportunity to pull it out

Basically know what all your cords do and don't whiff/waste your amazing ult.

Thanks, I'll look at xpecial, how receptive is this board to watching matches and giving appropriate criticism? I don't think I've ever seen anyone say "hey, look at my match and tell my why I suck".

If you actually bothered to put up your gameplay, you'd at least get a few good pointers between all the the other crap this board will say. Worth at least a try, imo.

I strongly recommend Cain from Najin Sword.
