looking for the right champion

#1tasogare413Posted 6/20/2013 9:10:06 AM
only level 8 spent $55 on the game, planning on dropping another 35 next paycheck
(question at end of post)

i loved warwick when my friend let me play on his account, and i just about got him down
sion is the only one i have gotten any kind of kill streak with
mundo dies the least and clears anything less than enemy champs best
the girl on the boar is awesome but cannot get kills with her

i have tried nidalee and would love to be good with her, tried the fallen angel and found her too sensative to mistakes, elise was ok but too much management, i missmanaged olaf being used to more defense, and lastly zed is too complex for me to attempt again

characters i am interested in purchasing are
draven
graves
katarina
tryndamere
and volibear

i tend to be aggressive and give chase without hesitation
i have held lanes 1vs2 but prefer to be the sword in there face while being reinforced by ranged/mage
i am looking for simple DPS with some sustainability and no loss of end game capability

do i have the champion i am looking for or is there one i should get??

i was leaning towards that barbarian
it says he is a carry, which i take to mean DPS or sustainable DPS in LoL

Yeah from what you described Tryndamere is the best champion for you.

Is trynd best top or bottom lane?
only difference i know about is higher damage goes top and a buffer/support champ goes bottom

Or you could get Garen, he's only like 450 IP so you don't have to spend money. He's very forgiving for new players because he's naturally tanky as hell and he does some pretty good damage.

Not really true.

Top is generally reserved for the more bruiser type champs. The beefier, get in there and mix it up, type champions.

Bot lane is the ADC and support. The ADC is the one that kills everyone late game, the support carries them on their back through laning phase so they can get to that point, and wards (well, everyone SHOULD ward, but more often than not just the support does).

Trynd goes top.

Tryndamere is your best bet.

I recommend taking a look through the guide below and watching some of the videos in it to see if this is the type of hero you would like to play. I wouldn't expect to pick him up easily and start dominating in 1 game, but if you practice him a bit and get the mechanics down, you'll be unstoppable while leveling your account and when you start to do ranked. It's all about judgement when playing Tryndamere, he can 1v1 just about any champion, but if you try to do it at the wrong times or in bad situations because you're overestimating your damage or your survivability, then you'll end up feeding and be worthless.
