Veigar is the worst champion in the game

#1SumSmartDooodPosted 6/27/2013 5:49:03 AM
He currently has:

- the second lowest Summoners Rift winrate at 43.52%

- the third lowest Twisted Treeline winrate at 40.50%

- the second lowest Crystal Scar winrate at 38.42%

- an ARAM winrate of 44.67%

And yet, people will still try to claim that Veigar is actually a good champion, and come up with ridiculous ways to rationalize why they believe his winrate is misleading.

I think Rift is all that matters in this case, as the reason he's underpowered elsewhere is a matter of the game mode and not him. Twisted Treeline is a place where bruisers shine, rarely do AP casters like him excel. In Dominion he's in much the same position as Nasus, not being able to farm leaves him weak and useless and trying to farm means you're losing the game by making it a 4v5.

I'm curious to know why he'd be bad in Rift though.

Wow TC, could you be any more wrong? Everybody knows that winrates mean nothing. The only reason his winrate is so low is because he is a 1350 ip champion, which means that he is more likely for newer players to play, which in turns leads to an artificially low winrate. DUH!

Veigar is one of the best AP mids in the game, he literally has an aoe stun and TWO nukes. Go back to bronze, TC.

Veigar is and has for a long time been the hardest champion in the game to play. He has a ton of counters and needs to be really careful. That is what gives him his low win rate but that does not make him a "bad" champion even though that may make him a situational champion.

You can't make an omelette without crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning.
