Max W or E as Nami?

I was thinking maxing E + going ham during a Q would wreck the enemy lane.

Or should I just stick to maxing W?

I find W gives better trades if you can land at least one bounce (i.e. ally > bounce to enemy) consistently.

I've tried both, and found that E is more likely to win you trades. In addition, purposely leaving W at low rank for a little gives you a low-cost semi-spammable heal for in lane, which is nice.

E is better for trading. If you have to sustain W is better if you're playing a safe lane.

E is better in my opinion because it increases slow and gives you mixed damage. Also makes your extended trades just better. W costs a lot of mana at max and is somewhat inconsistent.

I level E first, unless I'm getting fed real hard and can afford a Chalice + Manipulator early, in which case I start ranking W.

If my jungler doesn't have much/any CC, then I keep ranking up E anyway because the slow is important.
