last time this happened to me I just waited it out --- Many people, of course, use 'sentimentalism' as a term of abuse for other people's decent feelings, and realism as a disguise for their own brutality. G H Hardy
Generally speaking, when the patch is stuck at 33%/99% and repairs don't seem to resolve the issue, it's a firewall related issue. Instead of going in details myself this time, I'm just going to post this: https://support.leagueoflegends.com/entries/20132793-Firewall-Configuration-for-League-of-Legends --- Common sense seems to be more uncommon. Yeah just wait it out...for days if you have to...Same thing happened to me.
In fact, same thing still happening to me...I've been waiting it out since yesterday, for a total of about 14 hours into the patch. It reads 33%-99% randomly. I see file names being loaded, and it seems to have cycled through all of them. One time I saw it loading bin_0x00000000, and then it went on and on forever before loading new files, and now it's loading bin_0x00000000 again while the top bar just says "applying patches".
I turned my firewall off in the latter end of the update ( I had thought it was already off), and p2p is disabled. Been trying multiple fixes over the last week to get this game working, and even made a thread here but all the advice I got was to wait it out.
Is it so hard for Riot to simply allow users to download an installer which contains a version of LoL that is already patched? Or can I download a already patched game from some other source? --- Why is it called 'common sense' when it is so rare these days?
Note that I never downloaded League of Legends before at all, I have never been able to play League due to these glitches/bugs/technical crap. --- Why is it called 'common sense' when it is so rare these days?
