Dynasty Warriors references that I have found in LOL

Some of them maybe old to you guys. Here are the references that I have found:

1- Lu Bu (Jaravan IV)
This one is pretty obvious. Jarawan skin (Warring Kingdoms Jaravan IV) is a complete reference of the guy below.

2- Zhao Yun (Xin Zhao)
Another obvious one. His skin (Warring Kingdoms Xin Zhao) is also a complete reference. Also the name Zhao.

3- Sun Wukong (Wu Kong)
Another very obvious one but a lot of you may not know of this one. Monkey man, uses a Rod as weapon and even the name says WU KONG.

4- Zhenji (Leblanc)
Same type of purple clothes, same sexy personality and uses a magical rod as weapon.

5- Pang Tong (Jax)
SURPRISE!!! I am a green Jax. Even his weapon looks like Jax's weapon.

6- Zhu Rong (Nidalee)
Zhu Rong says "Hi guys I am a jungle girl who loves tigers".

7- Guan Yu (Master Yi)
Not the character here just his weapon. Same Master Yi weapon but a spear not a sword. Green coloured blade with yellow rings on top. The top half of the weapon is exactly as Yi's blade.

8- Zhong Hui (Arelia)
Better NERF Zhong Hui.

9- YueYing (Lux)
Only difference is a little green in clothes and hair are brown , not blonde. Also uses magical rod as weapon.

10- Xiahou Ba (Garen)
Leader of the Knights. Looks a very similar and uses a giant sword as weapon. Also spins the sword like mad in one of his EX attacks.

11- Xu Huang (Talon)
Not saying its a reference but still clothes are very similar.

The voice of Lu Bu is also Garen. Also, the Wukong reference isn't really about DW. It's from a tale long ago.

Having some minor similarities doesn't mean they are references. I doubt the champ development team intentionally meant to make dynasty warrior characters as bases for champs.

I agree but then again I dont agree when I think about Warring Kingdoms skin and Master Yi weapon but even if all of them are references I dont mind. I just wanted to share what I found out. I like LOL and I like DW too. If there are similarities between them, It makes me more wanna play LOL.

Yes, the Warring Kingdoms skins are obvious references to DW, which is based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. However, other than these, anything else is just a coincidence.

Yeah, the Sun Wukong thing is not a reference to Dynasty Warrior. They're both references to the old Chinese tale Journey to the West.

I wasn't expecting there to be much beyond the Jarvan/Jaravan/Jarawan and Xin Zhao skins, but I can actually see the similarities you pointed out for most of these. Although yes, the Wukong one is more a case of a shared origin.

Is TC really implying that they made Wukong out of homage to DW? Really?
