Jinx will most likely be released in the next few weeks barring any setbacks while Ao Shin is not due for a long while. I wouldn't expect him until early next year at the least. We'll have another champion or two released before the Dragon enters the Rift.

I think new (and some reworked champs) are banned from the LCS/Championship for a month when they're first released.

Also, season 4 doesn't start until January or somethin g like that. There's usually a few months of preseason while riot makes the major changes for the season

IIRC, someone at Riot stated that Ao Shin will be Champion #118. Jinx, when she hits live, will be the 116th Champion released. So there's one between Jinx and the Dragon. I disagree on how early we'll see Jinx, though. Part of the reason Lucian was on PBE so long was because he needed nerfs. With her numbers as they are now, Jinx needs a lot more tweaking than Lucian ever did. I say we're lucky if she's out before the end of October.

Ao Shin though, I agree. Probably won't see him until early 2014.

That'll be neat if Ao Shin is released at the beginning of January.

But didn't Riot mention that they wanted to release 17 champs for this year?

Want to=/=guaranteed.

Ended up they decided that reworking old champs was more important then making new ones this year.
