if you don't belong in bronze you will get yourself out of there if you play what you're good at

i got unlucky in placements and got placed in bronze 2 and spammed adc games to get out of there

Honestly the biggest thing is just to cs.

Start with getting farm, it doesn't matter how many times you die just get in the habit of farming.
Once you're consistently getting higher farm, start working on dying less but still getting farm.

Best role to do this is Mid and ADC.

When you master these 2 golden rules you can be one of those gods that have 300 cs 20 minutes in without deaths.

Just remember farm = items and items leads = easy wins in duels, skirmishes, and teamfights

on my first account i got out of bronze by literally duoing with a plat player

on my friends account, i got out of bronze by duoing with a silver player

It's really rough. Trying to jungle in bronze is worthy of hair pulling because if you gank 1 lane, the other 2 just died at the same time and are yelling at you. So you go bot, kill them, then mid/top die and repeat.

I thought I was hot sh*t in S1 with my Irelia. I stomped almost everybody pre-30 (smurfs were rarer back then). I started ranking and couldn't get out of ~1400 Elo. I thought I was a victim of luck. I always did well and finished with a gaudy KDR. Yet, I was losing as much as a winning.

Looking back, I realized that I wasn't as good as I thought. Got ganked 2v1 and took one down before dying? Now I realized I could have killed both of them and survive. Killed 2 people in a teamfight? But with better mechanics, I could have killed 3 and a tower.

Be humble about your play, strive to be individually better, and you'll climb.

This was me back in S2. I thought I was an amazing player (because in reality, I was too bad at the game to realize my mistakes).

Eventually my girlfriend decided that she wanted to play League, so I made a smurf account to play with her. We levelled to 30 pretty quickly by playing frequently, and I found myself carrying us to the win almost every single game.

When I went back to my main and started playing ranked, my winrate went from around 55% all the way up to 80-85%. At this point of time I realized that back before I was constantly carrying- I quite literally didnt know how to carry. My decision making was off, I wasn't as good with the game and specific champion mechanics, I didn't know when to force objectives, I didn't know how vital vision was (don't just rely on your support and trinket), I didn't have the knowledge of exactly how much someone who is fed can do (because I rarely got fed).

It was a humbling experience for me. Especially when a situation arises where (as an example) your teams losing and you are support. The old me would have put blame on others.

Now, I pretty much never play the blame game. I try to keep things civil and get everyone working as a team, no matter which role I'm in. I always give it my best, and that's surprisingly good enough to overcome the issue of a teammate feeding (amongst other issues that may arise in a game).

My suggestion to you TC-
Listen to what everyone here had to say (focus on csing and not kills, always try to stay alive, always maintain vision etc). After practicing these basics frequently for a few weeks, you'll be amazed at how much better you will have gotten.

Being good with the basics of the game can allow you to carry yourself to gold. Whenever you lose a game though, do yourself a favour. Look at all of your stats (damage dealt, wards placed, cs, KDA, etc) before looking at your teammates. After all, you will be the only constant variable you encounter in ranked.

Good luck TC!!

You can do it. I'm pretty bad at this game but I got to silver this season from bronze 2. It was hard, but I kept grinding and learning everything I could. I probably will never get too high, because my mechanics are bad. My goal is to at least get to gold though. I wish I had played more normals before jumping into ranked.
