Scenario Campaign mode coop question

#1PhaserbankPosted 10/27/2009 1:25:00 PM
1. Is this mode playable with an online buddy? I thought I read somewhere that it was supposed to have that online experience where someone could join me.

2. If so how do I set it up since its not part of the online menu?

I really thought there was supposed to be coop online in scenario campaign mode.

I too wish to know. Heck I wanna know if you can even play it OFFLINE co-op. I mean I can understand doing online co-op might be a touch tricky, but I don't even see an option for offline which is weird considering there's always two characters and yeah, videos and screens of two OTHER characters in campaigne mode. Perhaps it unlocks later? Anyone know?

Alright just searched it and it's looking like there's no co-op play yet but it might be in an upcoming patch/dlc.

One person suggested that there will be online co-op but no offline. If this ends up being true I'm kicking Namco in the teeth! XD (except for their We Cheer division :P)

I've been cutting Namco some slack on this game, but the lack of Co-Op on the Scenario Mode has really pissed me off. How can you release a game with something like that missing?

All I have to say is it better be a patch, because I doubt I'd pay for something the game is supposed to do anyways!!!!

Yeah, I was about to come here to post the same topic. I too also tried to figure out why it wasn't 2 player. But I think it was only single player because you have to go through the tutorial first. After that lars scene, its you and alisa and that too is also part of the tutorial. once you finish that, you unlock an achievement. as far as how to play it two players (because they did allow up to 2 characters at a time), and if its offline or offline, they should have made it online.. after all, it said so behind the box (2 player co-op) didn't mention online or offline.

But try to go through the tutorial and see what happens. still trying to figure out how to bring in another person in the game myself. i looked through the manual and it didn't say much. people don't read manuals nowadays anymore lol

Hey, I just read this article about Namco:
http://www.giantbomb.com/tekken-6-bloodline-rebellion/61-23833/tekken-6-goes-gold-co-op-patch-due-after-launch/35-265878/#34

Namco is working on a free patch to the scenario mode to include the co-op online play. hopefully the online mode will also have "team battle" just like in the offline mode -_- the features should be the same!

So there will never be offline co-op in the campaign?

My girlfriend and I were hoping to earn some quick cash together playing campaign.
