Yeah but you have to admit it was pretty cool.
I would definately use a cover system. I think SR2 was only easy, because of the cheats and unlockables. They should still keep those though lol.
Ofcourse i know its an RPG, 1 of the reasons i bought the game.
SR2 isnt a shooter, and VATS could effectively work in this.

"There is no Death, there is only the Force!"
VATS would be lame is SR...

if SR2 isnt a shooter, then what the hell is it?

Are you people on crack? SR/2 already has a cover system, it's real easy, you just press in on the left analog and you can duck behind things. Blindfire is something that would be interesting but isn't really needed. Auto lock on is a huge no-no. As is VATS because it's basically like an auto lock-on, sure you don't necessarily automatically hit things, but it's really unnecessary.

Lock on system sucks long hard... pop-sicles... COVER=WIN AUTO AIM=FAIL
I just created the best guitar hero song ever "The Bucketforce went down to Georgia"<-- COPYRIGHTED. *All the songs obnoxiously play at once*=EPIC
Lock on is for Morgon Web, who said the aiming in saints row 2 was sloppy and bad...o.O
Cover System for the win. Can't say I'd like lock-on too much tho
