I played SR3 on PC and loved it and then decided to play the first two games. And I must say that I generally hated the first SR. I played it just for the story. But I'm having way more fun with SR2 currently. Activities aren't as annoying to complete (well, apart from Escort and Heli Assault - those two at level 5 and 6 are a bit of a PITA) and I'm enjoying them far more. There's lots more exploration to do. It really feels like the perfect sandbox game, although some framerate issues still persist from the first game and the AI is still cheap.

I am the exact opposite - while I miss a lot of additions and nice touched the have in 3 - ALL the gameplay content in 2 far outweighs 3 IMO - fighting styles, blocking, fight club activity, more diverse looking locations and places to go, the shopping mall, the beach, casinos, moving trains you can blow off the track onto the street, runnig your car into a gas pump and being blown 1000 ft into the air!, eating to get health, drinking and smoking weed, and so much more.

Clothing options, don't forget the clothing and jewelry options. Gods, the clothes available in SR3 are so crappy compared to what SR2 offered.

I recently tried to play through the first Saints Row and couldn't get into it so I started Saints Row 2 and became addicted as I always do when I play it, and will played through this one again upon completing this one.

The first game is just too basic now, nothing stands out to make me want to play it. I just basically load up my last complete play-through, go to the plastic surgeon and just create my new character, in this play through the character is based off me, then once I'm done, I just watch all the cut scenes with my new character then started Saints Row 2.

I enjoyed all three games but I missed fight club and fuzz from saints row 2 and I liked the story style from the first two where you could choose the orders of what gangs you want to fight first and you got territory from completing missions saints row 1 had the best soundtrack and clothing options
