SmokingCaddyPosted 6/24/2009 8:54:59 AM | other than the simple combat, I thought it was pretty well grounded in realism, minus the shape-shifting characters of Onikage and the big breasted Rinshi. For the planned sequels I hope they do away with that and integrate a more interactive combat system. I have the Wii version and I know the only reason they put in that gimmicky slash and defend system was because of the Wiimote. Maybe Acquire can find some way to put in the combat from their Way of the Samurai series into Tenchu, I loved the sword play in those games. I don't want it to be a priority however since the series is all about stealth. I did my best to avoid combat in SA, but gritted my teeth every time I got to a boss fight. |
