Also, it's a shame that most people won't get the "That's right!"/"Is that so?" gag with Wobbuffet and Wynaut. I thought that was pretty hilarious.Though they did have him saying "Why not take your prize?" as well, so they kinda stuck in a translated variant alongside it. --- Not changing this sig until Konami announces a US launch for Boktai 3. What's funny about the "That's right!"/"Is that so?" thing with Wobbuffet and Wynaut? I never got it :3. --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pc1qoXhKcw&fmt=18 That's me offline (reviewing PSO:BB) :3! ^_^.
Wobbuffet's name in Japanese sounds a lot like it's saying "That's right!", which is why Wobbuffet always pops out of the pokeball after Team Rocket's motto in the TV show. But the English translators dropped the ball and it seems Wobbuffet is just randomly popping out for no reason. Wynaut's name in Japanese sounds a lot like it's saying "Is that so?" or something.
So two pokemon making puns with their own names "Is that so?" "That's right!" are lost in the English translation. --- |< a /\/\ e × If you love someone, set them free. If they come home, set them on fire.

Right, but why Linoone? I'm guessing there's supposed to be some joke linked to the Japanese names of both of them. --- Not changing this sig until Konami announces a US launch for Boktai 3. (See quote) Started 11/21/05.
