Why am i getting motion sickness from this game?

Like every 30 to around 40 min im getting a headach and i feel tired (especially my eyes) from playing this game. I find this rather odd since i play FPS and third person shooter games all the time (planetside, cod and so on).

Anyone know why this happning, or are experiencing something similar?. Hm, strage thing.

I've never experienced that, and I've played this game numerous times. I've never experienced it with any game, actually.

Do you have an LCD, or CRT? Have you tried other resolutions, or different lighting in the room?

Yeh i think it might be monitor.

Did some digging about my screen (syncmaster 245b), and apperantly it can with some games cause headachs and especially hurt your eyes.

I'll mess with it tomorrow when im rested, i just find it odd its happning now and not befor. =d

This game has a small field of view compared to some other shooters. While others are around 80-90, this game is around 50-60. Some people are more susceptible to fov issues than others. Some people get sick from playing it, some don't.

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/, a very renowned widescreen forum, has declared this game to have a problematic field of view but have yet to find a way to fix it.

I just cant go through this game at the moment, so its gotta go on hold for awhile.

Thanks for the link.

Keep checking that site.

Racer_S, one of the members. often releases FOV hacks. If you're lucky, he'll release one for this game.

There's nowhere in any of the game files, that allows you to adjust it.

I used to get motion sicknes in FPS games all the time, but since I got a 19" widescreen I've never felt it again
