Ok, I've managed to solve every other glyph so far without help from the internet, but this one pissed me off. Been stuck for 2 hours trying to translate '791'.

I'm guessing the two blurred symbols in it correspond to 7 and 1, but Shaun's advice doesn't help me at all. I can't even see a clue in the pictures either, not like the last few. Any assumptions I had about his advice : "Something we can count" have fallen flat.

Number of strokes, Angles, Right Angles, Number of enclosed spaces, number of triangles... nothing works. Someone please tell me, what am I looking for here? I wanna try this before going to the guide, because I really wanna understand this puzzle.

All I can remember is that the 1's corresponding symbol is the diamond inside a diamond
My Pokemon FC's are constantly changing, so don't be surprised if you need to update it on your Pal Pad every 5 minutes...

Code wheel puzzle: Here’s a tricky one; your clues are “<” and “2,” and the only advice you’ll get from your handlers is that maybe there’s “something we can count” on the strange symbols. In this case that “something” is the number of times each symbol bends sharply. Don’t expect consistency across the wheel on this one; just take a look at what symbols flank the blank spaces and pick a shape with the number of bends that would go between them.

In what universe did this make sense, while it was being designed? < didn't even equal 2, in the picture.

Ah, yes, I remember this one well. Basically, I had to consult the Internet because my television's resolution is crap and I couldn't see the little number in the piece of paper to the left.

I'm stuck on this one as well, and nothing works, even though I'm 100% sure I tried every possible logical answer, like you said on your first post.

Google isn't helping at all.

the shapes go numerically in order of the number of sharp angles they have (curves are not counted, circle counts as zero as there are no angles). in the selector they are arranged randomly. the code is: 4 (that is, a shape with four sharp angles) 6 8

Ohhhh I get it now! Basically, if (Grey) 4 = (Red) 1 (which is the >, one sharp corner), 5 = 2, 6 = 4,7 = 4 corners, and so on.

So 7 = 4, 9 = 6, 1 = 8.

Damn, I had the 90% of the answer right in in my head (counting the sharp bits) and I couldn't make the connection.
