Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships

Okay i noticed that a lot of people are having trouble starting the game. (especially when playing as diego or ian stance) The game gives some brief help on fighting and then you're on your own. If you are patient what should do first is go to the shipyard. (press enter, a menu opens, go to "go quickly to" and press enter, now look for shipyard button( two axes) and press enter. you will automatically warp there) Repair your ship. ( first option ( Wharf services) a page opens look for the repair option in the bottom left corner. Voila) (Note: When starting the game, you can be given 3 different kinds of ships. A War Tartane, a Lugger or a Sloop. If you get the sloop you will find the game easier but if you didnt dont worry these ships are not so expensive, or simply make a new game until you do.) Once you repair your ship you will find you have no money left. The best thing to do is to go to the store. when talking to the man there will be four options (three?) choose the second one from the top. Now choose the first option. (charter my vessel...something) The man will give you the name of a city, a time limit, the amount of goods you need to transport, and the reward you will get. ( the award depends of what ship you have. The bigger the cargo space the more goods you can transport and the more money you will get. Sloop and lugger give the most money War Tartane....not much) The typical award for sloop/lugger is 2500 piasters. Now that you have a mission SAVE. there are two ways 1 press escape and click save, or press f6. Now go to the shipyard. talk to the owner and ask him for sailors. for a sloop or lugger you only need about 45 sailors) at this stage of the game you dont need to have your ship overflowing with sailors you NEVER need to have max sailors (unless youre attacking a colony) Now that you have some sailors you nedd to look around the tavern for some officers. The most important thing right know is a cannoneer and navigator BUT you cant afford one. the easiest thing to do know is go to port SAVE now. when youre on the ship do the press enter to go to the menu again. now look for the compass option. You will be in a map. take a look at your real map. The one that came in the box behind the manual. Look for the city your headed to and go there. use WASD to move. press + to speed up time or - to slow down time. also you can press R to double your speed. if on your way there you get attacked by pirates or any country fight run away or (recommended unless youre bored) reload by pressing f9. ( the makers of the game actually knew this game was impossible thats why they added this button) when you get the city talk to the store owner ( if its night go to the tavern and rent a room, or go to your ship and sleep. To sleep in your ship do the enter menu press speak aloud and select sleep until morning) <-<-<--- talk to the store owner. talk to him like if you were offering to take goods except this time you will give him the goods and get your reward. Repeat this process until you have some money. at this time you need to get your officers together hiring a fighter is always a good idea. The way to progress in the game is to steal ships. You get a max crew, wait for pirates to attack you, board em and own em. AND you get to keep their ship along with all the goods in it! you can sell this ship at the shipyard or swap it and sell your old one. as you get better ships you will have more cargo space and get better rewards from the store owner. Right now i have two man o wars each with 3000 free cargo space and get about 123000 piasters PER delivery.
