Cool tip for survival

Hey I'm sure I'm not the first to discover this useful hint, but hey I might as well share it with those of you who don't know it (you need ex version of I-No in order to pull it off). I discovered that using I-No's megalomania move while in ex mode in survival can literally make you jump twenty levels per match, so the drudgery of doing two or three matches before getting to the shadow/gold character is removed! You just do half circle backwards twice and then hit punch, kick, slash or high slash. It usually provides a huge combo and gives twenty levels instantly (You have to have a burst available to do it). Just thought I'd mention this!

Any overdrive that does a large number of hits like that will do it, just like throw xx Imperial Ray for Justice, or managing to pull out Gamma Ray and hitting with it. Survival has worked the same way since GGX, where you gain levels based on how much damage and how many hits you are doing, with higher numbers of hits greatly boosting your level gain.

I see.I thought megalomania did significantly more damage+hits than any other move, but I didn't realize other characters had overdrives like that. I guess I'm a little to I-No-centric heh.

Megalomania is particularly well-suited for this, though, since it doesn't require tension.
Good show.
