Does anyone know what the dots under the numbers mean?? Does it let you know the different combinations each number can be rolled??
Listen kid, there are two things you don't know about the Earth. One is me, and the other is.............GODZILLA.

They show the relative odds of rolling that number. So 5 pips for 8-9 for example. A good way to determine where to place your towns is to count up all the pips of the spaces adjacent to the spot. Typically, the higher the number the better the odds of getting resources each round.

There are other strategies, but that can be found in other threads.

In fact they represent the chance out of thirty-six that the given number rolls. So 2 and 12 have a one out of thirty-six chance, while 6 and 8 have a five out of thirty-six chance.
