simply put: how much would gamestop offer for games that are basically new, such as this. i got it off amazon and i'm pretty sure they don't do returns. i haven't traded in a game before.

Probably the max trade in value. If you live in Canada, that's $40. No idea about the states. But they don't give you cash, they give you store credit.

If you put that store credit towards another game, however you will not get taxed on that credit. So say you put the $40 credit from BC2 towards GoW3. GoW3 = $59.99 - 40 = $19.99. You only get taxed on $20 instead of $60.

You give Gamestop a pot of gold, and they give you a coin from that pot. Think about it....use ebay instead to get around $45

thanks, maybe i'll try ebay then, although putting $40 towards gow 3 sounds good too. i can't remember the name of the guy who went over the fact that they won't tax you on store credit, but are you sure they will give $40 towards gow 3? i really feel like i wasted my money, but i guess we all make mistakes sometimes.

If you live in Canada. I'm not sure that it's $40 but this is a big game, comparable to Heavy Rain, BioShock 2, etc. And it hasn't even been out for a week yet, so I'm pretty sure that it would be $40.
