Don't mind him, he's a dumbass. There is aim assist in free aim mode. When you go into the options menu during a multiplayer match, under the multiplayer menu there are options to turn of target tracking and target slowdown (not sure exactly what they're called). Obviously it's hard to compare during a public match but get a friend into private and run the crosshair across their player model with and without those options on. You will see the difference.

Another nuisance I have to add to controls is how quick turn is assigned to the same button as corpse looting. The problem there is self evident, especially considering how finicky corpse looting can be, so I'm not going to go into it further.

As far as the map size, I retract my statement. It was based on FFA and Gang Wars. I played TDM and map size is fine. It's just that there are too many players for FFA and GW. I think 6 players for FFA and 12 for Gang Wars would have been fine.

I haven't played soft lock mode but the amount of aim assist you can play with on "Free Aim" is a hair away from being an aim bot.

NO SALE.

Fail again, R*. Fail harder.

I've been looting by holding the same button as reload...i've never used the quickturn button even though it says to in the instruction booklet
