Calm down? I really dont like pushing that horrid rumor but we have no information on the localization yet. For all we know NamcoBandai could have ported the extras back onto the wii. --- Everyone is already dead, the world is just lagging really badly. | |

Well there's fans on both sides, and the only way for NB to please them all is to release both. Which would cost them money so that probably won't happen. For now we just wait for the announcement. --- Everyone is already dead, the world is just lagging really badly. | |
Remember ToS did very good actually. If you mean DotNW, then it was helped by GC ToS' sales since they share the same title and there's a lot of Symphonia fans. --- Bang. | |

Thats one of the reason why there is a chance of it being on the wii. The symphonia fanbase was huge. I think it sold the most in America (cannot back that one up at all). Its a gamble but the wii doesn't have ANY good Rpgs to compete with that are being localized, while the PS3 does. It probably wont happen, but there are a few points that would make sense if it did come to the wii. --- Everyone is already dead, the world is just lagging really badly. | |
ToS came out over 6 years ago. The Nintendo fanbase created from that game has pretty much merged in with the regular Tales fanbase. 6 years is a long time. Currently, the Tales fanbase doesn't hold any sort of console loyalty. But considering that in Japan, the series has moved to the PS3, it wouldn't make sense to try and put the franchise on a different console in the US. The PS3 doesn't have many RPGs to compete with Graces F. The NISA games cater to a niche so small it's barely worth mentioning. Maybe Disgaea 4, but even that is very niche. It wouldn't provide much competition with Graces F. And the Wii not having many good games is not a valid reason why this game should get a Wii release. Depending on when its released, Graces F may have to worry about FF 13-2 which I doubt it'll hold up against. The point for the wii is that there is a group of people who want a RPG on the wii but it doesn't have one. Graces could potentially cater to that fanbase. I would like to think that the amount of people who want a good RPG on the wii is more than we believe but that is just me. Numbers talk, beliefs don't. ToS2 was crap. It sold because of its name and apparently caught up with Vesperia despite obviously not being a fleshed out game. In the end though I'm blabbering and not making much sense cause I just don't find it right to argue for the wii side when a PS3 release makes so much more sense.. I'm sorry to those of you Tales fans who only have a wii but you REALLY should have seen this one coming. --- Everyone is already dead, the world is just lagging really badly. |
