Hi there, I want to share some info on the locations of codes for the vending machines in Dead Money, I have two I can think off of the top of my head.

First, the obvious one "return outfit item" is found in all the cash registers around sierra madre

I found the holotap for 357 ammo inside the police station in a locked room with a [hard] terminal on a desk just beside it. It isn't hard to find, its across the way from dogs cage. Thing is I don't know if there is an actual key you can find for it, I just hacked the terminal and unlocked the door.

So there you go, feel free to post any other holotape and code locations., I'm specifically looking for the code for 308s so if you know where it is, even vaguely, by all means please let me know.

The "return outfit" in the cash registers are for a different Pre-war outfit I believe.

I'm assuming there are 308s for sale, someone else mentioned they had found the holotape for it where I found the holotape for 357s.

So, either that guy got his numbers mixed up, or he really did find the 308 holotape and mixed up the location for it with 357

Also there is a computer log saying that the vending machines are capable of dispensing all sorts of ammo, why not 308?

Fallout Wiki says the 308 code is on the floor of the men's room in the Police Station. I have it but I don't remember from where, seems like a plausible location though.

Lol, I love how everytime I go to post something, someones already ahead of me. But thank you anyway radiantviper.

Just found this via googling "vending machine code - ".308 rounds"" :

Kind of makes this topic pointless now....
