im not sure where to find his room after i went up there.....although after i did i passed the speech checks to stop his attack

anyway im not sure what i should be looking for exactly any info on that?

Are you still in the Presidential Suite? If so, go back down the elevator and down the hall to an elevator that takes you up to the 13th floor. Follow the quest arrow to a set of double doors. Thats Benny's room. The "clue" is pretty obvious from there.
