So confused...can you keep playing after the last quest?

Can you continue to do other quests if you 'beat' the game?
I have the DLC, so can I not play them on my save if I beat the game already?
Do I have to start all over?

You can't play after you beat the game. If the end game save is the only save you have, then you'll have to start over. That is why the game tries to warn you with the point of no return message.

You can NOT play after you beat the game. If you have no saves prior to the point of no return you'll have to restart to play the DLC.

No, you cannot continue once you're in the final mission/beat the game. You have to access the DLC before finishing the game.

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then you kill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.

After all the complaints in FO3 about this I still have no idea why they did it again.

Hopefully one of the dlc's fixes this like Broken Steel did for FO3.

Have you seen the 4 different factions you can claim Vegas for? Obsidian wanted to make sure your decisions had weight, completely changing the landscape for all of Vegas.

FO3 was easy, you either turned on the purifier or you put the FEV into the purifier and turned it on. Which really didn't effect all that much.

Also Obsidian will not be making a DLC that will continue after the credits.

the word fix implies something is broken

NCR ending: NCR control all of the region, no more conflict

house ending: house controls most of region, conflict mostly ends

legion ending a: legion controls eregion, no resistance is allowed.

legion ending b: everybody dies as lanius burns new vegas to the ground. no resistance

yesman ending: yes man leds a coup d'etat against you. you die.
