I feel like without Gamebryo...

This game just won't feel like Fallout (as in FO3+NV).
The clunkiness, stiff face models, and just overall look & feel really makes Fallout the great game it is. I just feel like without it it's not going to feel like Fallout just like how Skyrim doesn't feel anything like an Elder Scrolls game.

Anyone else feel similar?

i like the gamebryo engine just fine. but it is getting a little old.

the game wont lose its feel unless they do a poor job of translating the feel and atmosphere to the new games.

its kinda like the switch from the old top down games to the new first person games in FO3 and NV. the new ones, while clearly different, didnt take away from the awesomeness of the old games.

fo1 and 2 are still great today

its more abvout the game, less about the platform and engine its running on
Slaughter is the best medicine.

Hell no. Gamebryo should has been forgotten years ago. It's primarily the reason I can't call 3 and NV great games. It's a crappy engine. I'm glad they stopped using it.
It annoys me when people say RPG games.

it's a horrible clunky engine....skyrim improved on some parts, but others like shadows, etc. feel bleh. Why not use something like GTA used or something

I know it was clunky, but that's what made the new fallout games the games they were.
That's what I'm saying. With a different engine it just might not have that same feeling.

Not even a little bit. You are wrong and completely bonkers.
"Blanka, Zangeif, Chun-Li, Guile, E. Honda." That's Street Fighter. "Red, blue, green."
Those are Mass Effect 3 endings.

So you want Fallout to stay...clunky and weird-looking, because these ones are?

I think what we're witnessing is the pupal stage of a nostalgia-goggled NMA type.

Someone mentioned GTA earlier.

That's a prime example of a game that went from a horrid engine (the first few GTAs), to a great one, and always kept its unique GTA feel. Even from a top down cartoony game, to a 3D game.

That's not a bad thing.
