Good Weapons W/ Locations.

- Pew Pew (laser Pistol)

Collect 50 Star caps and take them to the Sunset Sas HQ, and speak to the Robot thing in the reception Area.

- Cz75 Avenger (Minigun)

(Note: Can only be aquired if Wild wasteland is off) In the back of a truck at the devils gullet. If Wildwaste land is on, then it will be replaced with an Unexploded Nuke which contains a ton of energy Ammo.

- YCS/186

Can be found in the same location as the Alien Blaster if you do not have the Wild Wasteland perk on.

- Mysterious Magnum

Kill the lonesome drifter and loot it from his corpse. (Best done after doing quests in Novac and heading left where you see the Dino)

- Lucky

Can be found in a safe in the building oppoite the Viki and Vance casino in Primm. (Requires a high lock pick skill)

- Maria

Kill benny and loot it

- That Gun

Purchase from Cliff Bricsoe in Novac. (Sometimes it can be found in the closet in the shop)

- All American

Vault 34 Armoury. (Note: If you have a companion sometimes they pick it up, so if it isn't there check a companion's inventory)

- Pulse Gun

(note: You can grab this while doing a quest for Veronica) Pick the Draw in Pearls barracks, then go Vault 34 and unlock the footlocker. 1hit Kill on Robots and power armour. This is useful for aquiring the Beaton-Tesla Prototype.

- Beaton-Tesla Prototype.

(Note: I recommend you have the pulse gun/Paladin Toaster before hand) At the crashed Virtibird. Be careful as there are a lot of Robots and Ghouls hanging around the Area so be ready for a fight.

- Big Boomer

Kill Old lady Gibson and loot it. (Note: I recommend you do this AFTER doing the quests for Jason Bright) also be ready for a fight as her dogs won't take kindly to you killing her.

- Q35 Matter Modulator

REPPCON HQ, You can get this in three ways:

Drop down into the room from the first floor.

Or

Pick the lock on the door

Or

Hack the computer to open the door.

- Paladin Toaster

Black Rock Cave on a dead prospector. Essentially, this is a melee version of the Pulse gun as it gives a 1hit kill on robots and power armor. It is also useful against other enemies as well.

yeah, the part about the Cz75 Avenger is wrong. the unexploded nuke with that ammo is a little bit northeast of the gullet, and has three super mutants around it. also i have had wild wasteland on for 3 characters now, and have gotten it every time, just where it should be. it is a completely different area then the unexploded nuke. other then that. you have a very nice consolidated list here

EDIT:and both of the people with unique weapons can have them shot from their hands. turn them hostile by barefist punches, then shoot the gun when it is drawn, you then grab the now broken version, head for ze hillz, repair it, and there you go, you got their weapons, and they are still around for quests/whatever morales you play by

Another way to get the Lonesome drifter's magnum is to do the talent scout quest at the Tops theatre, recruit the Drifter as a performer and pass a barter check (45 IIRC) to ask him for a reward.

All in all this is great to see everything in such a tidy list. Nicely done =)

- YCS/186
Can be found in the same location as the Alien Blaster if you do not have the Wild Wasteland perk on.

IMHO a list like this is only helpful to someone who isn't already intimately familiar with the game. Therefore they wouldn't have a clue where either the Alien Blaster or the YCS/186 would be found; which makes this entry unhelpful.

The Alien Blaster & theYCS/186 Gaus Rifle can be found North of the Horowitz Farmstead; which is in the upper North West quadrant of the map.

The YCS/186 Gaus Rifle is found on one of the 3 mercenaries at the Mercenary Camp North of the Horowitz Farmstead. You need to not have chosen the Wild Wasteland Perk.

The Alien Blaster requires you to have chosen the Wild Wasteland Perk & *avoiding as many spoilers as possible* search for the same Mercenary Camp North of Horiwitz Farmstead.

Don't forget Mercy. If you can kill the Legendary Deathclaw, that is...

Noticing a distinct lack of awesome melee weapons here. There's the Paladin Toaster, but nobody mentions Pushy? Found in Ruby Hill Mine?

What about Oh, Baby!? Found in the Charleston Cave, north of Jacobstown? This discrimination is sickening!

Wrong. I have wild wasteland on every one of my play throughs, and own this gun on every play through. It is at the bottom of the Devils Throat (not gullet) in an irradiated, Centaur infested crater. In a truck on a dead prospector.

The nuke you mean is 'The One', which exists as well as the cz75. It is literally 10 seconds walk north, near some super mutants.

Done that section of the game, but 2 hours ago.

You're wrong, and i'm right.

I thought this might be a list of where to find high quality equipment early. Too bad it's just the rare weapon list.
