I know everyone else was really negative on NMM but it does work fine for the most part. It is probably a little bit more "noob" friendly in my opinion, so that may appeal to you if it is your first time modding. It doesn't have all the features of FOMM though, but I just wanted to say to not be afraid to try it if you want.

Personally I would use FOMM but I was already using NMM for Skyrim, so I just kept with it.

FOMM for everything
NMM for what FOMM can't do

What does NMM do that FOMM can't do? I'm actually curious, and I've never used NMM. I tend to manually install all of my mods, but I've thought about giving NMM a try a few times so at the least I'd know how to properly pack my own mods to not glitch using NMM. I need FOMM for the BSA browsers and extractors. Does NMM have those tools?
