Well, it finally happened. My pokewalker's battery died : (

After 15 months, the battery finally gave. I was SO close too; I only needed 5000 more watts to unlock everything : (

I know that I can replace the battery, but I never really play HGSS that much anymore, so what's the point? Maybe to just get to 100000 watts, but then that's it >_>

What do you think guys?

Yo NeonSquidz! What's up dawg?

I know, but I feel like it's pointless because I'm really not going to play HGSS or anything. Plus I have all the items and pokemon I need =\

If you replace the battery, you don't have to reset the Pokewalker or anything do you? And do you keep all your watts? I'm beginning to worry as its been around 13 months and mine's on its last legs.

You lose all the watts and items you had stored in the pokewalker (aka, stuff you didn't transfer to your DS yet), but your pokemon and the current course are still retained even when the battery dies.

The walker saves steps and watts on an irregular basis, at certain times of the day, so that you don't entirely lose everything if you pop the battery out. I've observed ti saving times at 12:00, 15:00, and 20:00. The visible step counter is always destroyed if the battery is jiggled at all, but the total step count and total watts on the walker may be retained.
